This post, as well as the next three, will focus
on some of the insights that we can get
from the stars regarding the ways in which 2013 will unfold in relation
to our zodiac sign. Following the tradition of my blog related to starting from
Pisces and moving clockwise in the zodiac, this post will cover Pisces, Aquarius and Capricorn; the second
one will talk about Sagittarius,
Scorpio and Libra; the third one will be about Virgo, Leo and Cancer; and the
last one will cover Gemini, Taurus and Aries. The main
astrological indicators that I will focus on are the transits of Jupiter and Saturn, although I will
take into account transits of the faster moving planets (Mercury, Venus and
Mars) as well as those of the slower moving planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto).
Jupiter will remain in the sign of Gemini
until June 26th 2013 and will then move to Cancer where it will stay
until June next year. On the other hand, Saturn will remain in Scorpio for the
whole year. Concerning the slower moving planets, Pluto and Uranus will remain in Capricorn and Aries, respectively, whereas
Neptune will be in its natural ‘habitat’, that is, Pisces.
If, as I suspect, you’re only interested to read
about your personal zodiac sign (or the sign of your loves ones), please scroll
down until you find it. Each paragraph
is devoted to a different sign, Pisces coming first, Aquarius second, and
so on. If you’re not quite sure under which zodiac sign you were born, you will
notice the start and end dates of each sign being depicted in brackets next to
the name of the corresponding sign. Please also note the following two things:
a) If you were born on the cusp between
two adjacent zodiac signs (e.g., April 20th, which would be the end of
Aries and the beginning of Taurus), you might find it useful to read both signs and b) you might find
it equally useful to read the sign of
your Ascendant as well. For example, someone who was born on May 21st
and has Scorpio ascending (like me!) would get more out of reading the signs of
Taurus, Gemini and Scorpio.
Pisces (February 19 – March 19)
With Jupiter, your traditional ruler, in your
fourth solar house until June 26, you are the most fortunate of the zodiac in
terms of home and family, but not only. The transit of Jupiter, which is the
planet of luck and growth, through a sign that is in natural conflict with your
own is one of the transits you can take good advantage of, provided you limit a
certain tendency towards excess, arrogance and over-optimism. From that
particular position Jupiter does not provide solutions to all of your problems,
but it does open a few doors. Those of you born in the first half of the sign
(i.e, February 19 to March 5) have already witnessed Jupiter’s luck and support regarding your home and family lige during the second semester of 2012. In the first semester of 2013 the rest
of the sign also will gradually witness Jupiter’s help in terms of home and family,
especially from mid-April to late June.
Therefore, the first half of 2013 is a period of significant, though perhaps hasty, development, where opportunities in relation to the home and family will come almost without you having to seek them out. These may help you improve the relationship with your parents, renovate your home, buy a new one or move to a nicer location while the health of a family member may improve a lot. These opportunities will help you feel more secure and with more appetite for new adventures. This is so because Jupiter’s action is liberating: it breaks the shackles that may have kept you imprisoned in a house or a situation that was stagnant and thus helps you spread your wings. It is almost certain that with Jupiter in your fourth solar house you’ll have luck and positive developments at home and with your family but also in matters related to your parents, especially the father. Because in your case Jupiter rules both your most personal goals and your career and social status, you are quite likely to be given a relevant gift such as a promotion, a job you’ve always wanted, or something that will help you satisfy a personal dream.
Especially for those of you born between February 19 and February 22, Neptune
in your first solar house promises the achievement of one of your ideals in
life, provided you don’t let yourself be fooled because "all that glitters
is not gold '. Irritation will probably be on the agenda from February
23 until March 17 because of Mercury-in-retrograde-related delays or
misunderstandings in personal matters as well as in matters of marriage and
business partnerships. Patience will be needed until April 6 before you can put
an end to some of these delays and misunderstandings. Furthermore, the May 25 lunar
eclipse in Sagittarius will activate Neptune and bring some emotional climax in
relation to your home, family and career. Nevertheless, the simultaneous triple
conjunction of Mercury-Venus-Jupiter in your fourth solar house shows that this
emotional climax may be related to moving in with your partner or making a
good deal related to your home, which may though happen in secret. Finally,
Jupiter will enter the sign of Cancer on June 26 to stay there until the end of
the year. From that position it will increase your creativity and mood for fun,
entertainment, sports and flirting, while it may also spur your desire to have kids!!
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
With Saturn in a sign that is in natural
conflict with your own, this year is expected to be very important, though not
necessarily easy, especially for those born from January 24 to February 9.
Given that Saturn is associated with diligence, method and seriousness, you will
be asked to demonstrate these qualities, something that you might take as a lot
of pressure. From your tenth solar house, Saturn will remind you that you need
to respond effectively both to your professional obligations and to the
requirements of your parents (especially of the mother). On the other hand,
Saturn will urge you to make significant and perhaps painful cuts in your life;
in doing so, you will be able to remove those elements that no longer serve any
purpose. So with Saturn in square aspect to your sign, you will be asked to
detach yourself from habits of the past that are no longer related to your
current needs. Among other things, this may mean that you will have to make
some budget cuts, although Jupiter from your fifth solar house reveals that these cuts may be done in order for you to complete some
creative project, be it artistic or related to the arrival of a new baby. Perhaps
this project was “conceived” around June 2012 and will bear its fruit any time
between February and June 2013.
In any case, Saturn in your tenth solar house is associated with significant responsibilities that have to do with either your career or your parents. More specifically, you may take on many responsibilities at work so you don’t have time for anything else. Perhaps you feel that the eyes of your boss and higher-ups are constantly turned on you, which implies that you are in a continuous position of having to prove your worth to them. But it may also be that you come across several obstacles in your career with doors closing more easily than they open. Another possibility is that one of your two parents gets ill, so you have to spend a lot of time looking after them or worrying about them.
One of the most fun times of the year is expected to be the period from February
2 to February 26 when Venus will be in your sign and you’ll want to indulge in
love affairs, outings, dining, and socializing. Moreover, three out of five
eclipses affect you directly this year. More specifically, the 25 April lunar
eclipse and the solar eclipses on May 10 and November 3 will mark the
culmination of procedures and emotions associated with your home, family,
parents, and career. Irritation will probably be on the agenda from October 21
until November 10, especially for those of you born from January 22 until February
6. The reason will be significant delays or misunderstandings that Mercury
retrograde will bring in your career but also in household and family matters.
Patience will be needed until November 27 before you can put an end to some of
these delays and misunderstandings. Finally, Jupiter will enter the sign of
Cancer on June 26 to stay there until the end of the year. From that position
it will increase your need to put your everyday life in order and to deal with
your diet and health. If you're unemployed, you may get a new job from July
onwards, which will provide you with a decent living even if it’s not what
you’ve always dreamt of doing.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
With Pluto in your sign and Uranus in a sign that is in natural conflict
with yours for more than a year now, this year is expected quite challenging for
you! The Uranus-Pluto square, which most strongly affects those of you born December
25 – January 2, will mark a series of radical changes related to important
areas of your life such as your family and parents, your actual home, as well
as your marriage or relationship with a romantic or business partner. More
specifically, with Pluto in your sign, you'll want to make radical changes regarding
your appearance and personality. These personal changes will probably affect
your relationship with an important person, such as your spouse or partner. In
the positive scenario, you two will manage to consolidate and deepen the bond
between the two of you. In the negative scenario, your relationship or marriage
will have reached such a quagmire that it will have to be terminated.
In any case, with Uranus in square aspect from your fourth solar house, your personal changes, as well as the developments in the relationship with your partner, will trigger sudden changes for better or worse in your family situation and your actual home. But it may also be the other way around: namely, sudden changes at home and in your family situation may trigger personal changes and restructuring of your marriage or relationship with a partner or associate. Anyhow, these developments will create opportunities for you to get much closer to fulfilling your purpose in life. The bottom line is that you are moving away from things, people or situations that you were used to in the past. If you experience the upcoming and dramatic changes in a rather negative manner, then remember that the more you resist, the more difficult it is to adapt to them. But even if you experience the upcoming changes as a good thing, remember that you will need time to digest your new reality. Dates near which these changes will culminate are May 21 and November 1.
Very positive are expected to be the periods from January 9 to February 2 and from
November 5 until December 20 when Venus will be in your sign and you’ll want to
indulge in love affairs, outings, dining, and socializing. Nevertheless,
irritation will be on the agenda from June 26 to July 20, especially for those
of you born from January 4 to January 14. The reason will be significant delays
or misunderstandings that Mercury retrograde will bring in personal issues but
also in issues related to your marriage, partner or some business associate. Patience
will be required until August 4 before you can put an end to some of these
delays and misunderstandings. Moreover, Jupiter will enter the sign opposite
your own on June 26 to stay there until the end of the year. This transit will improve
the relationship with your partner but it may also bring a new relationship or
a marriage in the second semester of 2013. Finally, the October 18 lunar
eclipse in square aspect will mainly affect those born near January 16 and will
bring some emotional climax in relation to your home and family that will
directly affect your career or relationship with your boss.
