On February 16, 2022, at 4:56pm GMT, there is a Full Moon taking place across the Leo-Aquarius axis, the axis of creativity and originality. Like every Full Moon, this one too culminates processes that began with the previous New Moon. In this case, there is culmination of processes that began with the February 1 New Moon, which spoke of fundamental revisions and upheavals. It also spoke of introducing the new, thanks to solutions and opportunities provided by the Jupiter-Uranus sextile, which is completed within the next days.
Therefore, the current Full Moon calls for us to seize these opportunities which offer, if nothing else, more freedom and ability to open new horizons thanks to the creativity and originality that characterizes the Leo-Aquarius axis where the Full Moon takes place. After all, Mars is back within bounds and Mercury has returned to direct motion from the sign of Aquarius: both Mars and Mercury then, contribute to some sense of normality that characterizes activities. Those two planets also help us with opening new horizons after a period of backlogs, delays and postponements. This may mean that a big dream is starting to take shape (Mercury = Jupiter / Neptune) allowing together some kind of restart or renewal in terms of relationships and collaborations with the new Venus-Mars cycle that is just beginning.
Of course, the demanding quincunx and semi-sextile aspects formed by the Full Moon axis with Pluto reveal the difficult adjustments and radical changes required if one wants to introduce the new in their lives, but ‘one does not make omelet unless they break eggs’. Let us not forget, as well, that this Full Moon activates the November 19 2021 lunar eclipse, which leads to heightened emotions and a strong need for action, especially in matters of home, family and everyday life. Extra care is required for those on top of any kind of hierarchy because ‘heads’ that were not ‘chopped’ with the previous eclipse (North Node conjunct Algol) may be chopped now. The question is what persons or ideas that exercise power over you will you do away with under this Full Moon?
