Venus in Gemini and our Zodiac Sign: Part II

Following from my previous post, where I discussed how Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra are expected to incorporate the energies of Venus in Gemini, this post will cover Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. I remind you that Venus entered Gemini on April 3^rd 2012 and will remain there for approximately four months. If, as I suspect, you’re only interested to read about your personal zodiac sign (or the sign of your loves ones), please scroll down until you find it. Each paragraph is devoted to a different sign, Virgo coming first, Leo second, Cancer third, and so on. If you’re not quite sure under which zodiac sign you were born, you will notice the start and end dates of each sign being depicted in brackets next to the name of the corresponding sign. Please also note the following two things: a) If you were born on the cusp between two adjacent zodiac signs (e.g., April 20^th, which would be the end of Aries and the beginning of Taurus), you might find it useful to read both signs and b) you might find it equally useful to read the sign of your Ascendant as well. For example, someone who was born on May 21^st and has Scorpio ascending (like me!) would get more out of reading the signs of Taurus, Gemini and Scorpio.

I dedicate this post, as well as the next one, to the way in which we are expected to incorporate the energies of Venus in Gemini on the basis of our zodiac sign. Following the tradition of my blog related to starting from Pisces and moving clockwise in the zodiac, this post will cover Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra, whereas the next one will cover Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. Venus in Gemini: The Value of Learning, Communicating and Negotiating!

Venus, the planet of love, beauty, cooperation, and harmony entered the sign of Gemini a few days ago (April 3^rd 2012) and will remain there until August 7^th 2012. Although Venus is a fast-moving planet, which means that it makes a full circle around the Sun in less than two years, it will remain in Gemini for more than four months because it will turn retrograde while transiting that sign. Its retrograde period will start on May 15^th 2012 and end on June 28^th 2012.  In view of this unusually long stay of Venus in one sign only, I would like to dedicate this post on how Venus will generally manifest its energies while transiting the sign of Gemini. Nevertheless, this is not the only reason for dedicating this post on Venus’ transit through Gemini. This year’s stay of the planet of love in the communicative and playful sign of Gemini is one of the rarest astrological events of our century! The reason lies in the fact that a rare alignment takes place on June 6^th 2012: Venus passes directly between the Sun and the Earth. 

Mercury in Pisces in Relation to Our Zodiac Sign – Part II

In my previous post I talked about how each zodiac sign from Pisces through to Libra are expected to incorporate the energies of Mercury retrograde in Pisces. Following from that, I will now discuss how the rest of the signs, that is, Virgo through to Aries, are expected to incorporate these energies. I remind you that Mercury will turn retrograde on March 23^rd and won't go back into direct motion until April 3^rd. Mercury, though, will be in direct motion in the same sign from February 15^th to March 2^nd and from April 3^rd to April 16^th, which means that our communications, transportations and commercial dealings will be pretty much emotional, imaginative and rather vague and confusing in the majority of the time between February 15^th and April 16^th. Furthermore, the areas of life that will be affected by this Mercurian transit will be the same for most of the time between February 15^th and April 16^th. These areas are explained in more detail below for each zodiac sign.

Mercury in Pisces in Relation to Our Zodiac Sign – Part I

I would like to dedicate this post to the relationship between Mercury retrograde in Pisces and our zodiac sign. In my previous post I explained how this upcoming Mercury in retrograde may signify unusually emotional and compassionate, albeit vague and confusing, communications but also extraordinarily imaginative and creative ideas. Therefore, in this post, as well as in the next one, I will explain how each zodiac sign is expected to incorporate these energies. Following the tradition of my blog related to starting from Pisces and moving clockwise in the zodiac, this post will cover Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra, whereas the next one will cover Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. I remind you that Mercury will be retrograde in the sign of Pisces from March 23^rd until April 3^rd; nevertheless, it will be transiting the same sign in direct motion from February 15^th to March 2^nd and from April 3^rd to April 16^th. 

Mercury in Pisces: Direct from February 15 to March 2 and Retrograde from March 23 to April 3

Mercury, the planet of communication, intelligence, learning, commerce and short-distance travelling, is currently transiting the sign of Pisces and on March 3^rd it will enter the sign of Aries. There it will start its retrograde motion on March 12^th and will thus re-enter Pisces on March 23^rd. Finally, Mercury will go back into direct motion on April 3^rd but will only leave the sign of Pisces on April 16^th and won’t go back to retrograde motion until next July. The usual reaction of people on hearing that Mercury is turning retrograde involves anxiety, worry or even indignation, because of the expected delays, failures and misunderstandings in communications, transportations and commercial transactions, which Mercury in retrograde is renowned for.
