Full Moon Across Cancer-Capricorn: Breaking Free from the Shackles of the Past!

On July 13, 2022, at 6:37pm GMT, there is a Full Moon taking place across the Cancer-Capricorn axis, the axis of security, structure and hierarchy. Like all Full Moons, this one too is a culmination of the current lunar cycle, which began with the New Moon in Cancer on June 29, 2022. That New Moon seems to have helped the more relaxed and artistic types more than it did the more realists and technocrats who may have wanted – in vain – to swim against the flow.

Despite, however, the reduced ability to plan, it also seems that a number of issues that may have been pending for at least a couple of months have been settled or are on the way to being settled. These issues may concern domestic and professional affairs as well as one’s sense of material and emotional security. Therefore, with the current superior Sun-Mercury conjunction, the fruits of any ideas, agreements or negotiations that may have taken place around May 20-21 when the inferior Sun-Mercury conjunction took place are beginning to show. Such ideas and negotiations will continue to bear fruit for the next couple of months.

In fact, with Mercury having just returned within bounds, after a week of having been out-of-bounds, there appears to be reduced anxiety or mental overstimulation regarding domestic, family or national issues. Additionally, this Full Moon creates the appropriate conditions for radical change, purging and liberation from stereotyped ideas and automatisms of the past (participation of Mercury, Uranus and Pluto in the Full Moon axis). Caution will be needed, however, against any obsession concerning the pursuit of material and emotional security (unaspected Mars in Taurus) as relationships and financial matters will only prosper if they are allowed a great deal of flexibility and uncertainty (Venus trine Saturn and square Neptune).

So, are you ready to break free from the shackles of the past and, if so, at what cost?
