New Moon in Libra: A Breath of Optimism!

On October 1st 2016 at 0:11am, GMT, there is a New Moon in the diplomatic, harmonious and collaborative sign of Libra. Similarly to every New Moon, this one too suggests the need for a fresh start in that part of one’s horoscope where it happens to occur. Due to the nature of the sign the fresh start refers directly to relationships and partnerships. Thanks to the conjunction the New Moon receives from Jupiter these seem to get a breath of renewal and optimism along with a vision for a better future. Indeed, the sextile the New Moon receives from Saturn gives the opportunity for realistic appraisal of this new beginning. In other words, the vision for a better future can be supported by reality.

Of course, the road is not strewn exclusively with rose petals in spite of the trine Venus, the New Moon’s dispositor, receives from Neptune. The reason is related to the fact that the New Moon is in harsh square aspects to Mars and Pluto. Although the square to Mars is separating, which suggests that any tension and quarrels have already gone, the square to Pluto, who has just gone back in direct motion, is applying.

Therefore, in order for relationships and partnerships to enjoy optimism and renewal, some deep changes are imminent and necessary. These changes seem to have been discussed both in mid-August and in mid-September when Mercury was in trine aspect to Pluto at the same position it occupies now. However, the Mercury-Chiron opposition reveals internal conflict and tension due to some inability to move or speak. That said, the Venus-Neptune trine will help us soften the atmosphere and alleviate any negative thoughts. In any case, we wish you enjoy the New Moon!
