Mars in Virgo and our Zodiac Sign: Part I

I dedicate this post, as well as the next one, to the way in which we are expected to incorporate the energies of Mars in Virgo on the basis of our zodiac sign. Following the tradition of my blog related to starting from Pisces and moving clockwise in the zodiac, this post will cover Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra, whereas the next one will cover Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. I remind you that Mars entered Virgo on November 11th 2011 and will remain there for approximately eight months. If, as I suspect, you’re only interested to read about your personal zodiac sign (or the sign of your loves ones), please scroll down until you find it. Each paragraph is devoted to a different sign, Pisces coming first, Aquarius second, Capricorn third, and so on. If you’re not quite sure under which zodiac sign you were born, you will notice the start and end dates of each sign being depicted in brackets next to the name of the corresponding sign. Please also note the following two things: a) If you’re born on the cusp between two adjacent zodiac signs (e.g., April 20th, which would be the end of Aries and the beginning of Taurus), you might find it useful to read both signs and b) you might find it equally useful to read the sign of your Ascendant as well. For example, someone who was born on May 21st and has Scorpio ascending (like me!) would get more out of reading the signs of Taurus, Gemini and Scorpio.

Pisces (February 19 – March 19)

Transiting your seventh natural house, which is related to one-to-one relationships, husbands and wives, partnerships, marriage, litigations, divorce, open enemies, clients and the public, Mars in Virgo will urge you to set modest, but precise, goals and take methodical action in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may take initiative in creating more order and perfection in your relationship with a romantic partner, spouse, business associate or client. You may also accept realistic challenges regarding these relationships and partnerships, so that both parties can achieve tangible and practical results. You could further become more enthusiastic and passionate about developing your interpersonal skills, which may encourage you to assert yourself in a more humble and submissive manner than usual. Nevertheless, petty fights over trivial matters such as schedules and routines are quite likely to create heat between you and a romantic partner, spouse, business associate or client. On a more psychological level, you may notice a tendency for discounting or disowning your own desire for order and perfection, which may lead you to perceive significant others, most notably partners and spouses, as becoming more meticulous, critical and obsessed with perfection.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Transiting your eighth natural house, which has to do with intimate relationships, shared resources and joint finances or money belonging to others, such as taxes, loans, debts, inheritances, joint bank accounts and insurance policies, Mars in Virgo will urge you to set modest, but precise, goals and take methodical action in relation to any of the issues mentioned above. For instance, you may take initiative in creating more order and perfection in your relationships with intimate partners or with people who deal with money, such as bankers, tax officers, insurance people and stock brokers. You may also accept realistic challenges regarding your joint finances, credit cards and loans, so that both you and the other party can achieve tangible and practical results. Nevertheless, petty fights over trivial matters such as schedules and routines are quite likely to create heat between you and an intimate partner or a person with whom you share resources and finances. On a more psychological level, you may notice a tendency for deepening your own desire for order and perfection or a tendency for being passionate about developing your ability to look deep within yourself; you may thus discover and start to get rid of deeply held behaviour patterns and complexes.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Transiting your ninth natural house, which is related to higher learning and education, universities and professors, foreign people and countries, long journeys and in-laws, Mars in Virgo will urge you to set modest, but precise, goals and take methodical action in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may take initiative in creating more order and perfection in your relationships with professors, fellow students, in-laws, foreigners, lawyers and publishers. You may also accept realistic challenges regarding these relationships, so that both parties can achieve tangible and practical results. You could further become more enthusiastic and passionate about developing your skills and talents in a higher education setting or abroad. Nevertheless, petty fights over trivial matters such as schedules and routines are quite likely to create heat between you and in-laws, professors, foreigners or lawyers; you may thus be urged to act in a more humble and submissive manner towards these people. On a more psychological level, you may notice a tendency to look for wisdom and meaning in desiring order, perfection, efficiency and attention to detail; you may also decide to expand your mental horizons by taking careful steps.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Transiting your tenth natural house, which has to do with parents (usually the mother), job, career, public life and image, and relationships with bosses, employers and authority figures, Mars in Virgo will urge you to set modest, but precise, goals and take methodical action in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may take initiative in creating more order and perfection in your career, as well as in your relationships with employers, authority figures and your parents, especially the mother. You may also accept realistic challenges regarding these relationships and may even start to assert yourself around these people in a more humble and submissive manner than usual. You could further become more enthusiastic and passionate about developing your professional skills and talents so that you can achieve tangible and practical results in your professional life. Nevertheless, petty fights over trivial matters such as schedules and routines are quite likely to create heat between you and your boss and parents. On a more psychological level, you may notice a tendency for feeling regarded as important when desiring order, perfection, efficiency and attention to detail.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Transiting your eleventh natural house, which is related to friends, social life, groups, organisations, promotion by recommendation, community involvement, volunteerism and capacity for happiness, Mars in Virgo will urge you to set modest, but precise, goals and take methodical action in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may take initiative in creating more order and perfection in your community or in your relationships with friends and groups you are member of. You may also accept realistic challenges regarding these relationships, so that you can both achieve tangible and practical results. You could further become more enthusiastic and passionate about developing your community involvement and volunteering skills and talents. You are also likely to set precise goals and take prudent risks in order to be promoted by recommendation or to achieve happiness in life. Nevertheless, petty fights over trivial matters such as schedules and routines are quite likely to create heat between you and your friends or groups you are member of. On a more psychological level, you may feel that you belong with friends, groups and communities that desire order, perfection, efficiency and attention to detail.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Transiting your twelfth natural house, which has to do with compassion, charity, behind the scenes activity, hospitals, retreats, as well as with taking days off, resting and escaping daily routines, Mars in Virgo will urge you to set modest, but precise, goals and take methodical action in relation to any of the issues mentioned above. For instance, you may become more enthusiastic and passionate about developing your skills and talents while taking time off and escaping your daily routines. You may also accept realistic challenges regarding your capacity to show compassion, so that you can achieve tangible and practical results for people who are in need. There could also be initiatives for creation of more order and perfection that are taking place behind the scenes and that will not be felt until Mars enters your sign next year in July. Nevertheless, petty fights over trivial matters such as schedules and routines are quite likely to create heat between you and people who work in hospitals, retreats and charity organisations. On a more psychological level, you may notice a tendency for taking careful steps towards placing your faith in the universe and trusting that whatever happens contributes to your spiritual awareness and progress.
