New Moon in Aries: Let's make a brand new and powerful beginning!

Tomorrow's New Moon in Aries initiates the cycle of April and May eclipses and calls for a dynamic, pioneering and enthusiastic new beginning. A new beginning that has to combine both our own needs and those of others (Mars-Venus conjunction); the way to do this is honesty, will for action and assertiveness (Aries). Most favored are the fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) while cardinal signs (Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) seem to be intensely required to make a new beginning in some key area of their lives (career, home, marriage, relationship with partner / spouse and relations with parents).

However, the absence / lack of planets in fixed and earth signs in the New Moon chart reveals that the new beginning that we will make these days may stumble across practical obstacles and difficulties that may appear before us in about two weeks from now. This might mean that it won't be easy for us to establish firmly in the ground any new beginning we make now. The only solution is not to give up but instead to face up to the obstacles that may appear soon.

Finally, just when we thought that Mercury had gone back into direct motion, the New Moon takes place with Mercury and Jupiter receiving no basic aspects and being in mutual reception with one another (the one is in the sign that is ruled by the other; Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces where Mercury is now). This indicates that there is a great number of communications, contacts, trips and transactions to be made, either for profit (Jupiter) or for charity (Pisces), but these may fall on deaf ears or we may become obsessed by them (lack of basic aspects). This will probably affect more negatively the signs of the mutable cross (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces). I hope you make the best you can during this New Moon!
