Jupiter in Taurus & our Zodiac Sign: Part I

Just like I promised, I dedicate this post, as well as the next one, to the way in which we are expected to incorporate the energies of Jupiter in Taurus on the basis of our zodiac sign. Following the tradition of my blog related to starting from Pisces and moving clockwise in the zodiac, this post will cover Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra, whereas the next one will cover Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. I remind you that Jupiter entered Taurus on June 4th 2011 and will remain there for a whole year.

If, as I suspect, you’re only interested to read about your personal zodiac sign (or the sign of your loves ones), please scroll down until you find it. Each paragraph is devoted to a different sign, Pisces coming first, Aquarius second, Capricorn third, and so on. If you’re not quite sure under which zodiac sign you were born, you will notice the start and end dates of each sign being depicted in brackets next to the name of the corresponding sign. Please also note the following two things: a) If you’re born on the cusp between two adjacent zodiac signs (e.g., April 20th, which would be the end of Aries and the beginning of Taurus), you might find it useful to read both signs and b) you might find it equally useful to read the sign of your Ascendant as well. For example, someone who was born on May 21st and has Scorpio ascending (like me!) would get more out of reading the signs of Taurus, Gemini and Scorpio.

Pisces (February 19 – March 19)

Transitting your third natural house, which is related to learning and schooling activities, short-distance transportation, communications, and relationships with neighbours and close relatives, such as siblings, cousins, uncles and nephews, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in any exams you need to take, while some of you may decide to steadily expand your capacity to travel short distances by buying a new car or motorbike. It might also be a time where you renew your communication devices, such as computers and telephones; it could also be a time where you communicate and share your views and opinions with a larger audience than you are normally used to. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to neighbours, and close relatives; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, you may encounter opportunities to steadily expand your mind by learning something new or by applying your knowledge in new settings.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Transitting your fourth natural house, which has to do with parents (usually the father), home, family, private life and the past, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in home-related issues, which may translate in steady expansion/renovation of your current dwelling or in a move to a more comfortable house. It may also be a time where your family steadily expands, perhaps because a baby is on the way! Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to your parents, particularly the father, or other family members; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, it appears that you will tend to find inner peace and security in growing steadily and in looking for meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Transitting your fifth natural house, which is related to children, love affairs, sports, gambling and any creative or other joyful pursuit, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck while gambling, although you shouldn’t push you luck, because Jupiter usually promises more than it can deliver! It may also be a time where a love affair grows steadily or where you decide to have a baby. It could also be a time where you decide to start a new hobby, sport or creative pursuit. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to your romantic partners or children; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, you may have a desire to be noticed and recognised for your capacity to grow steadily and for your quest for meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Transitting your sixth natural house, which has to do with work, health, duties, daily routines, colleagues and employers, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in work-related issues, which may translate in steady expansion of your professional activities or, perhaps, in a new job. It may also be a time where your health or daily routines improve steadily, while it can further be a time where you start a diet or a gym subscription and thus adopt a healthier lifestyle. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to your colleagues or employers; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, you may find that Jupiter in Taurus helps you to steadily liberate you from feelings of guilt or worry, or that it helps you to steadily improve your bodymind connection by looking for meaning in hard work and enjoyment.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Transitting your seventh natural house, which is related to one-to-one relationships, husbands and wives, partnerships, litigations, open enemies and the public, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in your one-to-one relationships, which may translate in the beginning of a new relationship, in steady growth of an existing relationship, or, even, in steady liberation from a relationship that no longer works. Therefore, getting married or divorced is equally likely, depending on your situation. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to your spouses, business partners or clients; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, you may notice a preference for discounting or disowning your own tendencies to look for meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times; this preference may lead you to perceive significant others, most notably your partners and spouses, as adopting a more materialistic view of life.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Transitting your eighth natural house, which has to do with intimate relationships, shared resources and joint finances or money belonging to others, such as taxes, loans, debts, inheritances, joint bank accounts and insurance policies, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues mentioned above. Jupiter in Taurus may thus mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to intimate partners, as well as people who deal with money belonging to others, such as bankers, tax officers, insurance people and stock brokers. For instance, you may receive a lucky inheritance, tax relief, favourable loan or steady liberation from some debt. Furthermore, you may steadily expand the levels of intimacy you share with a love partner, thus getting even closer together, or, quite alternatively, you may steadily liberate yourself from the levels of intimacy you used to share with them, thus growing apart. On a more psychological level, you may notice that Jupiter in Taurus provides you with the opportunity to steadily grow by looking deep within yourself, thus discovering and getting rid of deeply held behaviour patterns and complexes.
