Jupiter in Taurus & our Zodiac Sign: Part II

Following from my previous post, where I discussed how Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio and Libra are expected to incorporate the energies of Jupiter in Taurus, this post will cover Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. I remind you that Jupiter entered Taurus on June 4th 2011 and will remain there for a whole year. If, as I suspect, you’re only interested to read about your personal zodiac sign (or the sign of your loves ones), please scroll down until you find it. Each paragraph is devoted to a different sign, Virgo coming first, Leo second, Cancer third, and so on. If you’re not quite sure under which zodiac sign you were born, you will notice the start and end dates of each sign being depicted in brackets next to the name of the corresponding sign. Please also note the following two things: a) If you’re born on the cusp between two adjacent zodiac signs (e.g., April 20th, which would be the end of Aries and the beginning of Taurus), you might find it useful to read both signs and b) you might find it equally useful to read the sign of your Ascendant as well. For example, someone who was born on May 21st and has Scorpio ascending (like me!) would get more out of reading the signs of Taurus, Gemini and Scorpio.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Transitting your ninth natural house, which is related to higher learning and education, universities and professors, foreign people and countries, long journeys and in-laws, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in foreign- or travelling-related transactions, while some of you may decide to steadily expand your mental horizons by travelling or even moving abroad. This expansion might also occur by making time to read about philosophy, politics or the law, while this is an excellent time to start a new university or higher education course. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to foreigners, in-laws, teachers, fellow students, publishers and lawyers; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, you may notice a tendency to look for wisdom and meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Transitting your tenth natural house, which has to do with parents (usually the mother), job, career, public life and image, and relationships with bosses, employers and authority figures, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in career-related issues, which may translate in steady improvement of your current job or in a new career altogether. It may also be a time where your reputation steadily expands or where you allow your ambitions and aspirations to open up to new, but realistic, possibilities. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to your parents, particularly the mother, or bosses and other authority figures in your life; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, it appears that you will tend to feel regarded as important when growing steadily and when looking for meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Transitting your eleventh natural house, which is related to friends, social life, groups, organisations, humanitarian enterprises, promotion by recommendation and capacity for happiness, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues or people mentioned above. For instance, you may be luckily recommended for promotion, while you may encounter opportunities to achieve happiness in life. It may also be a time where a new friendship grows steadily or where you decide to become part of a new group or organisation. It could thus be a time where you steadily expand your social circle. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to friends or groups and organisations you are part of; it may even be that they will come across opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in their lives this year. On a more psychological level, you may feel that you belong with friends and groups that look for meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Transitting your twelfth natural house, which has to do with compassion, behind the scenes activity, hospitals, retreats, as well as with taking days off, resting and escaping daily routines, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter opportunities or new ways to escape your daily routines, or, quite alternatively, your desire to escape everyday life may steadily grow during this year. It may also be a time where there is plenty of behind the scenes activity, the influence of which is probably positive but will not be felt until Jupiter enters your sign next year in June. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive benefits from or extend these to hospitals, retreats and charities. On a more psychological level, you may find that Jupiter in Taurus helps you, on the one hand, to steadily expand your trust in the universe and, on the other, to escape everyday life by looking for meaning in patience, hard work and perseverance, as well as in pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Transitting your first natural house, which is related to one’s self, body, wellbeing, vitality, health, self-image, outer appearance and self-development, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues mentioned above. For instance, you may encounter luck in terms of wellbeing and health, while it may also be that you take slow but steady steps towards developing and improving your own self and appearance. Therefore, this is an excellent time to liberate yourself from any burdens so that you can steadily achieve a renewed sense of inner self and outer appearance. Given Jupiter’s and Taurus’ respective associations with expansion and permanence, however, take care that you don’t put any extra weight during this period, because it might become permanent! Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will receive personal benefits and opportunities for permanence, fertility and steady growth in your life this year. On a more psychological level, you may notice that Jupiter will expand your basic Taurean motivations related to patience, hard work, and perseverance, as well as to pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times!

Aries (March 20 – April 19)

Transitting your second natural house, which has to do with material security, personal resources and sense of personal worth, Jupiter in Taurus will bring abundant patience, stamina and perseverance, as well as luck and opportunities for permanence, security and steady growth in relation to any of the issues mentioned above. For instance, Jupiter in Taurus may mean that you will steadily expand your personal income and resources, thus increasing your capacity to acquire possessions and enjoy material security. This may also be a time where you become more generous with your money and personal resources, while you are likely to receive a lucky salary raise or to find a new way to make money. Therefore, this is an excellent time for receiving financial benefits or extending these to others. Furthermore, Jupiter in Taurus may prompt you to value more highly patience, hard work, and perseverance, as well as pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and good times! On a more psychological level, you may notice that Jupiter in Taurus steadily boosts and expands your self-esteem and sense of personal worth, while it may even be that you will consider your personal worth to depend on your capacity to work hard and to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
