2012 Predictions by zodiac sign: Part III

Following from my previous post, this one will also focus on some of the insights that we can get from the stars regarding the ways in which 2012 could unfold in relation to our zodiac sign. Following the tradition of my blog related to starting from Pisces and moving clockwise in the zodiac, this final post will cover the rest of the zodiac signs, that is, Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and Aries. The main astrological indicators that I will focus on are the transits of Jupiter and Saturn, although I will take into account transits of the faster moving planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) as well as those of the slower moving planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto). Jupiter will remain in the sign of Taurus until June 11th 2012 and will then move to Gemini where it will stay until June next year. On the other hand, Saturn won’t change signs until October 5th 2012 at which time it will leave Libra for good in order to enter Scorpio and stay there for 2.5 years. Concerning the slower moving planets, Pluto and Uranus will remain in Capricorn and Aries, respectively, whereas today (February 3rd 2012) Neptune changes signs for good in order to return to its natural ‘habitat’, that is, Pisces.

If, as I suspect, you’re only interested to read about your personal zodiac sign (or the sign of your loves ones), please scroll down until you find it. Each paragraph is devoted to a different sign, Cancer coming first, Gemini second, and so on. If you’re not quite sure under which zodiac sign you were born, you will notice the start and end dates of each sign being depicted in brackets next to the name of the corresponding sign. Please also note the following two things: a) If you were born on the cusp between two adjacent zodiac signs (e.g., April 20th, which would be the end of Aries and the beginning of Taurus), you might find it useful to read both signs and b) you might find it equally useful to read the sign of your Ascendant as well. For example, someone who was born on May 21st and has Scorpio ascending (like me!) would get more out of reading the signs of Taurus, Gemini and Scorpio.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

With Pluto transiting the sign opposite yours (i.e., Capricorn) and with Saturn and Uranus transiting two signs that are in natural conflict with yours, this year is bound to be quite challenging! More specifically, with Uranus squaring your Sun those of you who were born between the 21st and the 30th of June will probably have to deal with upsetting situations or with people who behave in unexpected and rather irritating ways. For instance, your boss or your parents, especially the mother, will be acting in a strange manner that may create some temporary distance between you and them (Uranus transiting your tenth natural house).

With Pluto opposing your Sun those of you who were born between the 27th and the 30th of June may have to undergo some major transformations. Having to make a radical change in one of your one-to-one relationships such as a marriage or a business partnership is a distinct possibility (Pluto transiting your seventh natural house). What you need to remember is that whatever happens this year is ultimately for the best and that sometimes the best way to deal with change is to go along with it rather than resisting it.

With Saturn squaring your Sun until October 5th 2012 those of you who were born between the 14th and the 22nd of July may feel particularly pressurized and pessimistic while your vitality may be lower than usual. The main reason could be related to your professional situation, perhaps because your boss has assigned too many responsibilities on your shoulders. Nevertheless, it may also be that you encounter difficulties at home or in your family; at the very least this transit will probably mark a time where you need to work hard in order to achieve a sense of security or in order to attain family- or home-related goals. (Saturn transiting your fourth natural house)

On a positive note for all of our Cancerian friends, Jupiter transiting your eleventh natural house until June 11th may bring a busier social life and the desire to meet more people and make new friends! This might even be a time where you are luckily recommended for promotion or where you encounter many opportunities to achieve happiness in life and fulfill your dreams despite the difficulties mentioned above. Finally, Jupiter transiting your twelfth natural house from June 11th onwards may help you recuperate from this quite difficult year and manage to get some time off everything that troubles you.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

With Jupiter entering your sign this year you are definitely among the luckiest of the zodiac, although this will be much more relevant from June 11th onwards, particularly for those of you who were born between May 21st and June 6th. Nevertheless, until June 2012 most of you will have to arm yourselves with plenty of patience. The reason is that with Mars transiting a sign that is in natural conflict with yours (i.e., Virgo) until the end of June, many of you may feel tired, edgy, argumentative or downright quarrelsome. The main reason will probably be related to your housing situation or the relationship with your parents, your father in particular (Mars transiting your fourth natural house).  It may also be, however, that your boss or other authority figures in your life will also behave in irritating ways, most probably because they will require of you discipline, meticulousness and diligence; qualities which you don’t generally have natural affinity with (Mars in Virgo opposing your tenth natural house)!

Thus, relationships with your employers or parents will come into focus and make you think whether you really want to preserve them or whether you want to burn those bridges. These considerations may be particularly salient during Venus’ transit through your sign from April 3rd until August 7th, by which time Jupiter too will have entered your sign bringing a great desire to grow, expand your horizons and liberate yourself from past situations that may have tested your nerves and patience. In any case, valuing communication (Venus in Gemini) may actually help resolve any conflicts that arise or have already arisen (Mars squaring your Sun).

Most importantly, with Jupiter transiting your first natural house from June 11th onwards you may pump up your vitality levels, thus becoming healthier and enjoying a greater sense of wellbeing. Improving your appearance and making yourselves prettier are also favoured, while achieving a higher degree of autonomy and independence is possible too. You may also feel like you are on a winning streak, which may urge you to become more adventurous and to take risks that you wouldn’t normally take. For those of you who were born between May 21st and June 6th, there is an even greater chance of receiving benefits from important people in your life or from employers and authority figures. In a nutshell, Jupiter’s transit will bring luck and much potential for growth in almost anything you decide to do, so be wise and make the most of it!

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

With Jupiter transiting your sign this year, a transit that started in June 2011, you are definitely among the luckiest of the zodiac, although those of you who were born between the 20th and the 30th of April will start to feel particularly pressurized because of Saturn opposing your Sun from October 5th onwards. Nevertheless, with Jupiter transiting your first natural house until June 11th, you may pump up your vitality levels, thus becoming healthier and enjoying a greater sense of wellbeing. Improving your appearance and making yourselves prettier are also favoured, while achieving a higher degree of autonomy and independence is possible too. You may also feel like you are on a winning streak, which may urge you to become more adventurous and to take risks that you wouldn’t normally take. There is also a great chance of receiving benefits from important people in your life or from employers and authority figures. Jupiter will thus bring luck in almost anything you decide to do, so be wise and make the most of it before it enters Gemini in June 2012!

From June 11th onwards Jupiter will be in your second natural house, which may bring an expansion of your personal income and resources; you could thus increase your capacity to acquire possessions and to enjoy material security. This may also be a time where you are more generous with your money and your personal resources, while you are likely to receive a lucky salary raise or to find a new way to make money. Therefore, this is an excellent time for receiving financial benefits or extending these to others. On a more psychological level, this transit may boost your self-esteem and sense of personal worth.

However, with Saturn opposing your Sun from October 5th onwards those of you who were born between the 20th and the 30th of April may start to feel particularly pressurized and pessimistic while your vitality may be lower than usual. The main reason could be related to your professional situation, perhaps because your boss has assigned too many responsibilities on your shoulders. Nevertheless, it may also be that you encounter difficulties in your one-to-one relationships; at the very least this transit may mark a time where you need to work hard in order to achieve cooperation within your marriage, romantic relationships or business partnerships. This is thus a time where you will consider ending relationships or making them official, via getting married for example! (Saturn transiting your seventh natural house)

Aries (March 20 – April 19)

With Uranus transiting your sign, with Saturn opposing your sign and with Pluto transiting a sign that is in natural conflict with yours, this year is bound to be quite challenging for you! More specifically, with Saturn opposing your Sun until October 5th those of you who were born between the 11th and the 19th of April may feel particularly pressurized and pessimistic while your vitality may be lower than usual. The main reason could be related to your professional situation, perhaps because your boss has assigned too many responsibilities on your shoulders. Nevertheless, it may also be that you encounter difficulties in your one-to-one relationships. This is thus a time where you will consider ending relationships or making them official, via getting married for example! (Saturn transiting your seventh natural house)

With Pluto squaring your Sun those of you who were born between the 25th and the 30th of March may have to undergo some major transformations. Having to make a radical change of career or to experience a similarly radical change within your family is a distinct possibility (Pluto in your fourth-tenth natural house axis). What you need to remember is that whatever happens this year is ultimately for the best and that sometimes the best way to deal with change is to go along with it rather than resisting it.

With Uranus transiting your sign those of you who were born between the 20th and the 30th of March may feel particularly rebellious regardless of the consequences. This transit can thus bring much potential for liberating yourself from situations that have kept you stagnant in the past. It may also bring sudden opportunities for taking one big step towards your purpose in life. Quite alternatively, you may achieve a totally renewed sense of identity, following sudden enlightenments regarding what your real purpose in life is.

On a different note that concerns all of our Arian friends, Jupiter will be transiting your second natural house until June 11th; this may thus be a time where you are more generous with your money and your personal resources, while you are likely to receive a salary raise or to find a new way to make money. Finally, with Jupiter transiting your third natural house from June 11th onwards you will probably feel like expanding your mind and learning something new that can be practically applied, such as learning how to drive or how to use computers; buying a car or a new phone/computer is equally possible.

  1. Thanks Vagelis and once more spot on! I certainly do have a Uranian boss that burdens we with heavy and everchanging responsabilities!
When challenged by giants (Uranus, Pluto and Uranus) one can only go with the flow and see what comes out of....... for once, this one I cannot foresee ;-)
    Take care
