On December 8, 2022, at 4:08am, GMT, there is a Full Moon taking place across the mental and cerebral axis of Gemini-Sagittarius. Like every Full Moon, this one too culminates processes that began around the previous New Moon, that of November 24, which must have prompted many to relax, as well as to explore and open up new horizons. Now, with four out-of-bounds planets (Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars), there seems to be, in addition, an almost extreme need for freedom and unusual experiences or pursuits in the field of communications, transportation, and travel, as well as in educational or commercial activities. The ulterior motive of all this may be traced to an unusual interest in professional or social climbing (out-of-bounds Mercury in Capricorn, Full Moon’s dispositor).
Although the presence of so many out-of-bounds planets in the Full Moon chart makes for an unpredictable and chaotic period prone to excessive indulgence in sensual pleasures (combined with the Venus-Jupiter square), the Full Moon’s dispositor, Mercury, can help somewhat with keeping us grounded, being as he is in the sign of Capricorn. Care will also be needed in the management of emotions and anger, given that the Moon-Mars conjunction in the sign of Gemini prompts verbal confrontations. To the extent that retrograde Mars does not favor the externalization of anger, Moon-Mars may lead to excessive anxiety, frustration and mental restlessness, which can cause insomnia or bulimic episodes.
Should one be able to sublimate all this mental overstimulation into introspection and extraction of information from the past or even from the subconscious itself (e.g. by keeping a dream journal), then one can be successful, make important discoveries and thus become a 'luminary' for their fellow people. Thus, they will be able to plant in others the seed of culture, philosophy and spiritual search and cultivation (Moon-Mars conjunct fixed star Rigel).
